Course outline This one day course is geared particularly towards the needs of corporate personnel in the finance and sales/contract areas together with bank staff involved in international trade. It assumes a general knowledge of Documentary Credits and other international payment methods. The course is designed to give delegates a detailed knowledge of Letters of Credit. It also focuses on recent opinions provided by the ICC and legal judgments. Delegates will be made aware of the latest thinking among those charged with accepting documents presented under the Letter, enabling them to prepare appropriately. This understanding will be vital to the success of applications for the raising of any necessary finance.
