A one-day practical workshop suitable for export sales managers and administrators, finance and shipping teams who regularly receive or handle Letters of Credit. It is assumed that delegates will already have a basic knowledge of how Letters of Credit work and fit into the payment strategy of the business. Through use of interactive case studies and exercise, delegates will get a chance to update themselves with regard to current banking practice,including a detailed look at UCP600, and the implications of confirmation - both 'open' and 'silent.' Delegates are encouraged to provide examples of their own LCs in advance, for discussion during the workshop. |
